COUNTIES OF DENTON AND TARRANT §
I, the undersigned member of the Board of Directors of Trophy Club Municipal Utility
District No. 1 of Denton and Tarrant Counties, Texas (the "District"), hereby certify as follows:
1. That I am the duly qualified Secretary of the Board of Directors of the District, and that
as such, I have custody of the minutes and records of the District.
2. That the Board of Directors of the District convened in Open Session at a Regular
Meeting on September 19, 2017, at the regular meeting place thereof, and the roll was called of
the duly constituted officers and members of the Board of Directors, to wit:

All members of the Board were present except Kevin R. Carr , thus constituting
a quorum. Whereupon, among other business, the following was transacted at such meeting:

was duly introduced for the consideration of the Board of Directors. It was then duly moved and
seconded that Order be adopted and, after due discussion, such motion, carrying with it the
adoption of such Order prevailed and carried by the following vote:

3. That a true, full and correct copy of such Order adopted at such meeting is attached to
and follows this certificate; that such Order has been duly recorded in the minutes of the Board of
Directors for such meeting; that the persons named in the above and foregoing Paragraph 2 were
the duly chosen, qualified and acting officers and members of the Board of Directors as indicated
therein, that each was duly and sufficiently notified officially and personally, in advance, of the
time, place and purpose of such meeting, and that such Order would be introduced and considered
for adoption at such meeting, and that each consented, in advance, to the holding of such meeting
for such purpose; that the canvassing of the officers and members of the Board of Directors present
at and absent from such meeting and of the votes of each on such motion, as set forth in the above
and foregoing Paragraph 2, is true and correct; and that sufficient and timely notice of the hour,

date, place and subject of such meeting was given and posted as required by Chapter 551, Texas
Gov. Code, as amended.

ORDER NO. 2017-0919B
TROPHY CLUB MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1
AN ORDER LEVYING OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE TAX
FOR 2017 TAX YEAR
WHEREAS, Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 (the "District") is a duly created
and existing municipal utility district created and operating under Chapters 49 and 54 of the Texas
Water Code, as amended;
WHEREAS, Section 49.107 of the Texas Water Code provides that a district may levy
and collect a tax for operation and maintenance purposes;
WHEREAS, at an election properly conducted in accordance with all applicable laws, the
eligible residents of the District previously authorized the levy and collection of District
maintenance taxes;
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the District approved a proposed ad valorem tax
rate for the 2017 tax year at a meeting conducted on August 15, 2017;
WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements set forth at Section 49.236 of the Texas
Water Code and other applicable laws, the District has given proper notice and conducted a public
hearing regarding the adoption of ad valorem tax rates for the 2017 tax year;
WHEREAS, after conducting the public hearing, the Board of Directors of the District
desires to proceed with the levy and collection of an operation and maintenance tax for the 2017
tax year; and
WHEREAS, the District has complied with the applicable requirements of the Texas
Water Code and other statutes relating to the procedures for establishing ad valorem taxes by
municipal utility districts. Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDERED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF TROPHY CLUB
MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1 THAT:
Section 1. The facts and recitations found in the preamble of this Order are hereby
found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly
made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim.
Section 2. There is hereby levied for the 2017 tax year an ad valorem operation and
maintenance tax rate of $0.07658 on each $100 of taxable value on all taxable property within the
District.
Section 3. The Board hereby declares its intention that the tax rate hereby adopted be
allocated between funding operation and maintenance expenditures of the District's Fire
Department and other departments as follows:

(i) $0.06870 per $100 of taxable value is hereby declared reasonable and
necessary to fund operation of the District's Fire Department under the plan
previously approved by the District's resident electors; and
(ii) $0.00788 per $100 taxable value is hereby declared reasonable and
necessary to fund the remaining operation and maintenance expenditures of
the District that are not otherwise funded with other sources of lawful
revenues.
Section 4. The Board of Directors hereby finds and declares that the tax rate adopted
and levied by this Order does not exceed the maximum tax rate authorized by the voters of the
District.
Section 5. All taxes collected pursuant to this Order, after paying reasonable costs of
levying, assessing and collecting same, shall be used for authorized operation and maintenance tax
purposes, as may be specified by the Board of Directors in accordance with applicable laws.
ADOPTED, PASSED AND APPROVED this 19th day of September 2017.
